Roger Wesley Adams, affectionately known as "Rog," was born on May 25, 1935, in St. Louis, Missouri. With a loving spirit, he left this world on January 21, 2025, in St. Peters, Missouri, leaving behind a legacy woven through the hearts of his family and friends.
Rog’s life was marked by a remarkable 62-year career in the automotive industry, where his passion and dedication truly shone. He spent two decades proudly owning a car dealership, a testament to his commitment and love for cars—a reflection of his adventurous spirit which also embraced motorcycles. Beyond the world of vehicles, Rog was a vivacious soul who cherished storytelling, often filling the air with laughter through his jokes. His friendly demeanor made him a beloved figure to all who knew him, and he always knew how to make a lasting impression with his snappy dresser style.
Among the happiest memories Rog cherished were those spent boating on the lake with his family, crafting moments filled with joy and love that will echo through the seasons. His most profound pride came from his family—Joan (Matt) Goffinet and Kent (Debby) Adams, his loving children, who encapsulated his dedication to family life. The warmth of his legacy extends to his grandchildren, each carrying a piece of his spirit: Drew W. (fiancé Kassidy Taylor) Adams, Clay J. (Jami) Adams, Brittany Lacy, Jacob M. (Tina) Franklin, and Aaron J. (Taylor) Franklin. Rog's great-grandchildren, Adrian Adams, Grant Adams, Troy Adams, Cash Lacy, Grace Franklin, and Brooklyn Franklin, were the shining lights in his life, and he deeply cherished every moment spent with them, leaving a lasting impact on their hearts.
He is survived by his joyful family and friends who will forever remember him, while they hold dear the memories of his beloved wife, Judith Frey Adams, and his parents, Hugh Wesley and Zula M. Adams, who have gone before him and were surely waiting to greet him with open arms.
A memorial gathering to celebrate Roger’s vibrant life will be held on February 22, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, St. Peters, located at 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St. Peters, Missouri.
