Roger Elmer Venvertloh, age 87, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 in Saint Peters, Missouri. He was born in Quincy, Illinois on May 21, 1934 to Edward and Zeta Venvertloh (nee Grawe).
He was married to Mary Kay Venvertloh on July 28, 1998. Roger was a Tax Manager at McDonnell Douglas.
Roger was an honest, non-judgemental man who accepted everyone as they were, and was a faithful member of the Knights of Columbus. He was on the Quincy Notre Dame High Hall of Fame, and was a graduate of Quincy University. He loved playing and watching football, softball pitching, and bowling. In his generosity, Roger was a sponsor of the Vitae Foundation and those in poverty through Unbound. He supported all of the educational institutions that he attended, and many other charities.
Roger is survived by his Wife, Mary Kay Venvertloh; Daughter, Lisa (Jim) McCullough; Son, Keith Venvertloh; Son, Kurt (Jeanette) Venvertloh; Daughter, Susan (Mark) Vetter; Daughter, Jane Roby; Brother, Richard (Mary Lou) Venvertloh; Sister, Marylene Venvertloh, SSND; Brother, Frank Venvertloh; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Edward Venvertloh; Mother, Zeta Venvertloh; and late wife, Anita Venvertloh.
Family will receive guests on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 10:00am to 11:00am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1 Seton Court, St. Charles, MO 63303. Mass will be held immediately following at 11:00am. Inurnment will be in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Cemetery, W. Randolph Street, St. Charles, MO 63301.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roger's honor to The Roger Venvertloh Scholarship at Quincy University or the Vitae Foundation.
