Ronald Noel Carter

Ronald Noel Carter passed away peacefully with his family by his side at age 87 on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. He was preceded in death by his older brother, Kenneth Carter. He is survived by his brother Joseph Aubuchon of Washington, Missouri; sons Eric (Patricia) Carter of Maplewood, Missouri and Ned Carter and grandchildren Henry and Lily Carter of Aspen, Colorado; and his nephews and nieces of whom he was very fond.

He was a loving and doting father, brother, grandfather, and uncle as well as an urbane and inspiring presence in his numerous business, social, civic, and athletic associations. He was a committed contributor to several civic organizations and a member of the Rambler Rugby Club for 50+ years. He was a hardworking, resilient, insightful, and successful businessman and entrepreneur; an enthusiastic rugby player; and an avid gardener. He appreciated and would cheerfully accept requests to make a proper Manhattan. He was a unique, gifted and generous man who made the party and will be sorely missed by all those who knew him.
