Ronald Hodge, age 83, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024 in Saint Peters, Missouri. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 8, 1940 to McKinley and Annie Hodge (nee Brown).
Ronald attended Charles Sumner High School and graduated in 1958. He was a dedicated employee of McDonnell Douglas/Boeing from 1963 until 1997. He was devoted in his faith, he was an Ordained Deacon. He was baptized at Christ Southern Mission Baptist Church in St. Louis at the age of 9. He was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church. Ronald enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, and watching Jeopardy. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother and uncle.
Ronald is survived by his daughters, Renee Marie Williams, and Rhonda Denise (Myron A.) Horton of Saint Charles, MO; his grandchildren, LaKeisha Horton, Alana Hodge, and Dominique Davis; his great-grandchildren, D'Marieah Davis; his nephews, Herbert (Brenda) Gomillion, Bishop Nathaniel (Francine) Gomillion, and William (Calea) Reid; his step-son, Troy Small; and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, McKinley Hodge; his mother, Annie Lou Hodge; his sister, Geraldine (William) Reid; and his son-in-law, David V. Williams.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 11:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am, all on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376 with Bishop Nathaniel Gomillion officiating.
