Ronald J. Jackson, age 61, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in Saint Peters, Missouri after a long illness. Beloved husband of Wendy Jackson (nee Nitenson) of 26 years. Loving dad to Samantha Jo Jackson, Kimberly Sue Jackson, and Ryan Thomas Jackson. Dear brother to Rick (Cathy) Jackson of Covington,Louisiana and Teri Palmer of St. Louis, Missouri. He was born in Sikeston, Missouri on October 19, 1960 to the late Donald and Elena Jackson (nee De Los Santos).
Ron was one of the longest tenured employees at St. Luke's Hospital where he worked as the Assistant Director of Environmental Services for 31 years before moving to Dardenne Prairie City Hall where he worked for 7 years as a Foreman before retiring.
Ron never met a stranger. He could talk to anybody, anytime about anything. He was an avid gardener, he loved to barbecue nearly every weekend. He loved life, telling jokes, Cardinals baseball, and a good beer. Most of all he was a very good and kind soul.
Dardenne Prairie City Hall has honored Ron by naming a street after him "Ron's Way Dr."
Private services were held for Ron. Burial at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
