Ron, son of Ronnie L. Gilchrist and proceeded in death by mother Glenda Gilchrist. Dear friend and companion of Terese Owens. Loving father of daughter and son-in-law Amanda and Bryon Haake, daughter Kalena Gilchrist, proud grandfather of Scotty & Haley Haake, and big brother to Glenda Tracy Gilchrist.
Ron was a lover of music and concerts, from Rush to Frank Sinatra. He spent many years at GM where he may not have been crazy about his job but loved the people he worked with. They were like family to him and he always wanted to help anyone he could. He excelled at trivia, any kind of history, reading, riding his Harley, and ordering things from Amazon! Ron took extreme pride in his two grandchildren Scotty and Haley whom he got to play with this summer at the lake house in Canada. Ron was devoted to his country through his proud service in the Army. Ron had a loving nature and a heart of gold. The very best this world could hold. Never selfish, always kind. These are the memories you leave behind.
