Rose Theresa Aiello

February 10, 1941 — December 23, 2023

Rose Theresa Aiello, age 82, of O'Fallon, MIssouri went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 23, 2023 in Saint Louis, Missouri. She was born on February 10, 1941 to Frank and Clara Aiello (nee Varese).

Rose spent the majority of her life in Ferguson, Missouri from the age of fourteen, then moved to O'Fallon, Missouri in the year 2021. She worked many years at Skinner and Kennedy as a collator operator on printing machines where she met the love of her life, the late Larry Manier. Rose was a devout Roman Catholic all her life, and she attended Mass regularly. She was devoted to her family. Although she never had children of her own, she helped raise her many nieces and nephews.

Rose loved to cook, especially for others. She enjoyed shopping, visiting with friends and family, and playing cards. She was a breast cancer survivor. Rose was a kind and generous soul; and often donated to those less fortunate than her. She will be missed by many.

She is survived by her sister, Mamie (Antek) Grzyb, eight nieces and nine nephews, many great-nieces and great-nephews, and many friends.

Rose was preceded in death by the love of her life, Larry Manier; her parents, Frank and Clara Aiello (nee Varese), her sisters, Laura Tocco and Catherine Haunold, and her brother, Christopher Aiello.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Additional visitation time will take place from 9:30 am until 10:30 am with Mass immediately following at 10:30 am Friday, January 5, 2024 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, located at 403 N Main St, O'Fallon, MO 63366. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery, located at 5239 W Florissant Ave, St. Louis, MO 63115 immediately following the Funeral Mass.
