Rose A. Ransweiler, 70, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and devoted service. A woman of immense kindness and compassion, Rose dedicated her life to serving others—whether by listening, guiding, or lending a helping hand. Her love for Jesus, her family, and her friends was the foundation of her life.
Rose was a talented and passionate cook, sharing her gifts in the hospitality field, where she prepared meals for hundreds, and sometimes thousands, in a single day—vowing never to peel another potato again. Her true joy, however, was found at home, where her heart thrived. As a stay-at-home mother, she devoted herself to raising her one and only miracle daughter, Stephanie, affectionately calling her “sweet child o’ mine.” Over the past decade, their bond deepened into something Rose held as one of her life’s greatest blessings.
Equally cherished was her 24-year marriage to her beloved husband, Joe. Their love was steadfast and unconditional, built on mutual support, shared dreams, and Christmas. They were each other’s biggest cheerleaders through every adventure, move, and vacation, living out their vows of devotion in both sickness and health.
Rose’s ultimate joys was when her grandson, Felix, was born who affectionately called her “Mommo.” She treasured every moment spent with him—every call, every picture he made, and every smile—and fought each day to be here longer to bring joy into his life and squeeze him tight.
Rose was a source of strength, hope, and grace for everyone she met. She generously shared her wisdom and experience, enriching the lives of those around her.
She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Woodworth; son-in-law, Jacob Woodworth; grandson, Felix Woodworth; sister, Donna Lasnowski; brothers, Steven and Mark Lasnoski; godchild, Jessica Wobig; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She is reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Joseph Ransweiler, as well as her parents, grandparents, and many treasured friends.
Rose’s unwavering love, radiant faith, and selfless spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
