Ross Graves

Ross James Graves, age 81, of St. Peters, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. He was born in Conway, Missouri on September 3, 1942 to Homer and Mary Graves (nee Shockley).

Ross was a very proud, multi-talented and ambitious man. During his lifetime he built a home on the farm in Rolla and a second home in St. Peters Missouri. Ross retired from St. Mary's Hospital after having worked there for over 40 years. Ross enjoyed Bluegrass music and learned to play several instruments including his favorites the guitar and mandolin. He was a loving and dedicated husband for over 60 years.

Ross is survived by his Wife, Ann Graves; Two Sons, Ross Graves, Jr., Richard Graves; Two Daughters, Adrianne (Chris) Adams, Andrea (David) Zook; Three Sisters, Dorothy Gilpin, Linda Salter, Retha Godwin; Brother, Larry Graves; Brother-In-Law, Jeff Battreal; Five grandchildren, Brittany Brandt, Ross (Chrissy) Graves III, Megan Graves, Mindy Graves, Nathan (Ashley) Graves; Nine great-grandchildren, Mea Ivey, Able Hunicutt, Addison McGrath, Kade McGrath, Kinley Graves, Gary Graves, Kiley Graves, Kaydence Graves, Skyla Graves; and a host of other family members and friends.


He was preceded in death by his Father, Homer Lee Graves; Mother, Mary Mildred Graves; Son, Jeff Graves; Two Brothers, Clyde Graves, Harold Graves; Three Sisters, Alice Irving, Inez Calton, Ruth Lockridge; Daughter-In-Law, Cindy Graves.

Mass will be 2:00 pm Saturday, May 18, 2024 at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at St. Peters Chapel.
