Roy Bryant Mcferron

Roy McFerron, 87, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018 in St. Louis, Missouri. Roy was born on January 20, 1931 to the late Curtis McFerron and Mae Mary McFerron (nee Holt).

Roy was married to the late Carol A. McFerron before her passing. He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of the IBEW Local 1439 Union. In his free time Roy would enjoy spending time with his family and dear friends.

Roy is also preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Ann Hamilton, sister, Hazel Cobb and 2 brothers, Bill McFerron and Jr. McFerron.
He is survived by his children, Erin C. Rybacki-Gray, Scott B. McFerron and Brett R. McFerron; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Clara M. Parker, Viola Williams and Barbara Travers and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends.

Family will receive friends on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. The family will gather at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 9:00 am for a hour gathering. The family will follow in procession to Jefferson Barracks 2900 Sheridan Rd. St. Louis, MO 63125 for a 11:00 am military honors service and committal service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roy's honor to an organization of the donors choosing.
