Roy Edward Wisner

August 24, 1941 — July 5, 2022

Roy Wisner, age 80, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. He was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on Sunday, August 24, 1941 to Edward Wisner and Patricia Wisner (nee Derby).


Roy was proud to be a retired Master Sergeant after 20 years of service in the U.S. Air Force. He was an avid lover of all things sports, particularly baseball and the St. Louis Cardinals.


As steadfast as they come in his dedication to God, family and country, he will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him.



Roy is survived by his spouse, Karen Wisner; Two Daughters, Andrea W. (Gary) Arthurs, Rhonda J. Wisner; Two Sons, Eric S. (Cindy) Wisner, Sean R. (Lynn) Wisner; Ten grandchildren, Gary Arthurs, Jimmy Arthurs, In memory of Justin Arthurs (Angela), Adam (Jenna) Arthurs, JD Dorgan, Ian (Lara) Wisner, Shannon (Andrew) Danhaus, Aalliyah Wisner, Andrew Messmer, Jeremy Wisner and Chase Wisner; Six great-grandchildren, Jordan Arthurs, Liam Dorgan, Juniper Wisner-Gross, River Messmer, Thea Danhaus and Sydney Arthurs. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Edward J. Wisner and Patricia C. Wisner and Grandson, Justin Arthurs.
