Rudolph "Andy" Andrews, age 81, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. He was born in Bellaire, Ohio on August 5, 1941 to Rudolph Edward and Mary Susanna Andrews (nee Svrcek).
Andy was a devoted husband, compassionate father, beloved grandfather and great grandfather. His love for God and his family was shown every day through kindness and humility. Andy was a Veteran and proudly served his country in the Airforce and retirees' group of the Air National Guard. He spent his professional career at McDonnell Douglas/Boeing and retired after over 30 years of service. During his time at Boeing, Andy was involved in the development and fabrication of the first prototype F-15 Eagle Jet Fighter. He was also very active with the District 837 Machinists Union Retirees' Club. Andy enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with loved ones.
Andy is survived by his loving wife Karen Andrews, married since 1967; his children, Terry Linn (Rhonda Renee) Brannin, and Cheryl Ann Abrams; his granddaughters, Lindsay Renee (David) Kohlmeier, Amy Nicole (Nate) Edmonds, and Ashlee Michelle Brannin; his grandson, Tyler M. Ehlmann; his great-grandsons, Owen M. VanSchagen, Zachary P. Edmonds, and Mason J. Wilburn; his great-granddaughters, Zoe N. Edmonds, Heidi L. Wilburn, KeriaN. Parkins, and Clover L. Kohlmeier; his brother, Michael Craig (Debbie Kay) Andrews; and his sister, Marlene Susan Wallace. He will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rudolph Edward Andrews; and his mother, Mary Susanna Andrews.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm with a funeral service following at 5:00 pm, all on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Interment will be private.
Andy's service will be livestreamed at the scheduled service time.
