Ruth Ellen Barber

Ruth Ellen Barber, 69 of St. Peters, MO passed away Friday July 22, 2022 at St. Peter's
Manor in ST. Peter's MO. She was born in Moberly, MO on Thursday Feb 12, 1953 to
Floyd & Thelma Case.

Ruth was a 1971 Graduate of Slater High School. She was a happy homemaker for
many years and later employed in administrative jobs for the Fayette Alternative
School and Maxwell Family Chiropractic. Ruth loved people and although shy when
younger, she made it her life's mission to be friendly & kind to everyone she met. If
you met her you felt loved, by her & God. Ruth was a woman of unwavering faith and
an example of how to walk firm in her faith to many people.

She was a member of Main Street Church, in St. Charles, MO and a former member of
Faith Family Church in Fayette, Mo. Ruth's favorite activities included reading, word
puzzles, & game playing. She was hard to beat in a tough game of Scrabble. Ruth was
always available to listen to anyone and share an encouraging word with everyone.

She leaves behind her children, Brian Barber of Fayette, MO, Deborah (CY) Carlson of
Fayette, MO. Rachel Barber (Lonnie Wolfe) of St. Louis, Mo. Rebekah Barber of
Wentzville, Mo. & Benjamin (Amber) Barber of Lampasas, TX.
She also leaves behind her Siblings; Rebecca (John) Hodge of O'Fallon, MO, John
(Michelle) Case of Rockwall, TX, Debbie Case of Eureka, MO
.
Her greatest legacy was the 29 Grandchildren she left behind: *Brian Barber: Jamie

She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd (2016) & Thelma (2008) Case of
Marshall, MO & one grandson Lonnie James Wolfe Jr in April 2012.
