Ruth Lee Bohnert

Ruth Lee Bohnert, age 96, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024.  She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on April 28, 1928 to Felix and Anna Bradley (nee Johnson). 

Ruth, a dedicated pilot since 1981, had a profound passion for travel, particularly to Europe and the western regions of the United States. She took great pride in being apart of the Ninety-Nines International.  Her zest for life was evident in everything she did, and she embraced every opportunity to explore the world around her. Ruth's adventurous spirit and love for flying truly defined her journey, reflecting a life lived to the fullest. She will be remembered for her enthusiasm and the joy she brought to those fortunate enough to know her.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Deborah J. Bohnert; son, Lee Bohnert; three grandchildren, Charlotte Bohnert, Mackenzie Bohnert, Jessica Hessling; and a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward A. Bohnert; mother, Anna Maude Bradley; father, Felix Richard Bradley. 

Graveside Service will be 1:00 pm Monday, September 23, 2024 in the chapel at Memorial Park Cemetery located at 5200 Lucas and Hunt Rd, St. Louis, MO 63121.
