Ruth M. Quinlisk (nee Hildebrandt) fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, on Monday, January 17, 2022. She was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on January 15, 1927 to Erich and Mildred Hildebrandt (nee Busch).
Ruth is survived by her children, Richard M. (Joan K.) Quinlisk, Mary B. (William V.) Vorhies, Patricia R. (Jasper W.) Cross, Elizabeth A. (Richard) Helldoerfer and Colleen Q. (Geoffrey R.) Melton; her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Scott) Heneisen, Laura (Michael) Steinmetz, Bill (Michelle) Vorhies, Jay (Alicia) Cross, Joseph Quinlisk, Peter (Sarah) Quinlisk, Erich Cross, John (Megan) Quinlisk, Danny Cross, Richard Helldoerfer, Erin (Roger) Waeckerle, Colin Melton and Paul Quinlisk; her great-grandchildren, Madeline, Drew, Kyle, Evan, Cameron, Will, Ben, Ainsley, June, Jasper and Wyatt; and her sister-in-law, Betty Hildebrandt. She will be missed by many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Quinlisk; her parents, Erich F. and Mildred Hildebrandt; her granddaughter, Erica Helldoerfer; and her siblings, Martha (Charles) Meegan and Eugene (Betty) Hildebrandt.
Visitation will take place from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, with mass to follow at 11:00 am, both on Monday, January 31, 2022 at St. Joan of Arc Parish, 5800 Oleatha Ave, Saint Louis, MO 63139. Burial will take place at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery following mass.
