Salvatore Ventura, age 78, of Defiance, Missouri passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018 in Defiance, Missouri. He was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on January 19, 1940 to John and Christine Ventura (nee: Di Maggio).
Salvatore was a Lithographer at Saint Louis Post Dispatch for 28 years.
Salvatore is survived by his Loving Life Partner, Sharon Rosa, Son, Salvatore A. (Melissa) Ventura, Son, Steven S. (Katherine) Ventura, Shelby Jean Bender Mother of Salvatore and Steven Ventura, Step-Daughter, Christen (Chris) Burton, Step-Son, Bradley (Michelle) Rosa, Grandson, Joel (Marissa) Ventura, Granddaughter, Maggie Ventura, Grandson, Sam Ventura, Step-Grandson, Dylan Pitts, Step-Granddaughter, Abigail Rosa, Step-Granddaughter, Elizabeth Burton, Step-Grandson, Bradley Rosa, Jr., Step-Grandson, William Rosa, Great-Granddaughter, Sophia Ventura, Sister, Christine (Richard) Voss, Sister, Norma (Elmer) Ventura- Scott, Sister, Marie (John) Hall, Brother-In-Law, Carl Collins. He was truly loved and will be greatly missed by a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Brother, John Ventura; Sister, Rosalie Cullen; Father, John Ventura; and Mother, Christine Ventura.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Living Lord Lutheran Church, 500 Cedar Cir Dr, Lake Saint Louis, MO 63367.
Funeral Ceremony will immediately follow at 7:00 pm at Living Lord Lutheran Church, 500 Cedar Cir Dr, Lake Saint Louis, MO 63367 with Pastor James Erdman officiating.
Donations can be made to Friends of Kids with Cancer or Disabled Athlete Sports Association in Salvatore's honor.
