Sam Frisella, age 78, of O'fallon, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2021.
He was born in Madison, Wisconsin on February 28, 1943 to Joseph and Mayme Frisella (nee Ales).
Sam was a Meteorologist who was a teacher at SIUE, and St. Charles Community College, he enjoyed teaching everybody everything he knew about the weather and the stock market.
He was a Husband, Father, and Grandfather who loved spending time with his family, especially when they traveled together. One of his biggest thrills was watching Grandchildren play sports.
Sam also was a wonderful care taker of his mother and his father until they passed.
He loved to make spaghetti sauce for family dinners, which will be greatly missed.
Sam is survived by his Wife, Sandy Frisella, Daughter, Shelly (Greg) Lewis, Daughter, Candice (Dave) Budzinski, Grandaughter, Alex (Robbie) Wattler, Granddaughter, Ashlynn (Tyler) Reiter, Grandson, Jackson Budzinski, Granddaughter, Olivia Budninski, Brother, Josef Frisella, Niece, Julie (Job) Von Ulchen, Niece, Angie (Chris) Hahs and he will be dearly missed by a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Joseph Frisella, Mother, Mayme Frisella and Sister-in-Law, Donna Frisella.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cottleville.
Mass will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, November 20, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cottleville.
Committal to follow Mass at the church cemetery.
A luncheon to be announced after committal service at St. Joseph's Parish Hall.
