Sam Anthony Mercurio

Sam Anthony Mercurio, age 89, of O Fallon, Missouri Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Monday, January 8, 2024 in Saint Charles, Missouri. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 13, 1934 to George and Angelina Mercurio (nee Ornato).

Sam is survived by his two daughters, Barbara (Robert) Noonan, and Nancy Jamerson; two sons, James A. Mercurio, and Vincent J. Mercurio; seven grandchildren, Joshua (Alicia), Nicholas, Vito, Xavier, Ella, Benjamin, Joseph; great-grandchild, Maebry; and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Elaine; daughter, Constance "Connie" Dobelman; father, George Anthony Mercurio; and mother, Angelina Virginia Mercurio.

Visitation will be from 9:30 until 10:30 am with Mass immediately following at 10:30 am Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church located at 403 N Main St, O'Fallon, MO 63366. A luncheon will be held after mass has concluded in the Parish Hall. Interment will be private.
