Loudean Sellers

Loudean Sellers, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on July 15, 2024 in O'Fallon, Missouri. She was born on June 5, 1930, in Bradford, Arkansas, to Sarah Pauline and James Kenneth Edens.

She graduated from Bradford High School in Arkansas and went on to spend her life dedicated to her family. Her proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Throughout her life, she greatly enjoyed cooking and baking for her family, especially during the holidays. Her delicious creations brought warmth and happiness to those around her. Loudean's generosity knew no bounds. She would open her home to others at any time without hesitation. 

She is survived by her brothers Jim (the late Barbara) Edens and Charlie (the late Camilla) Edens; her four children, Paula (Charlie Rankin) Klaas of Rolla, MO, Terry (Donna) Sellers of O'Fallon, MO, Christal Sellers of Kansas City, MO, Kelley (Charles) Allen of O'Fallon, MO; her seven grandchildren, Jason (Megan) Sellers of Wentzville, MO, Aimee Parker of O'Fallon, MO, Tim (Rachel) Sellers of Indiana, Sarah Klaas of Rolla, MO, Taylor (Alex) Barnett of North Carolina, Timothy (Cara) Barnett of Kansas City, MO, and Nikki (Tommy) Jackson of Wentzville, MO; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was also a beloved Aunt and Great-Aunt to many.

Loudean is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Gene Sellers; her mother, Sarah Pauline Edens (nee Steed); and her father, James Kenneth Edens. 

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, August 2, 2024 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at Newcomer's St. Peters Chapel located at 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., St. Peters, MO 63376.
