Saraya Monique Sanders, age 22, of Lake St. Louis, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. She was born in St. Peters, Missouri on May 18, 2001 to Darrius Sanders and Jacqueline Sanders (nee Asher).
Saraya was just like her daddy, she brightened the room up with her infectious smile, spread her joy so easily and loved bigger than the average. Saraya's mom, siblings, and all of her family/friends had a role in who she "was", so easy to love, incredibly beautiful, sweetheart to her child, that no one will EVER forget. Saraya also spoke her mind, told you how she felt regardless of how it would make you feel or emotions it created, but no matter what Saraya would call or text like nothing happened because she loved unconditionally. Saraya loved her son Khai more than anything in this world, he was her joy and best friend. She and Khai always were doing something and on adventures, she wanted him to have the best childhood, and experience things she never did as a child, like going to the beach. That was their favorite place, and they took trips to the beach often. Unfortunately, now there will only be one set of footprints in sand. Saraya was loved by all and anyone she encountered; she left an imprint.
Saraya is survived by her mother, Jackie Sanders (Fred "Fox" Mitchell); Son, Khai Deniston; Siblings, De'Onte Sanders, Jase Sanders, Natalya Sanders, Devon Sweeten, DJ Sanders, Mariah Tunison, Olivia Tunison, and Gracie Tunison; Nephews, Seniko "Niko" Sanders, Royal Sanders; Nieces, Kingsley Sanders and many beloved Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
Saraya was preceded in death by her Father, Darrius Sanders and Stepmom, Jamie Sanders.
Funeral Ceremony will be at 6:00 pm on September 15, 2023, at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funeral & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Visitation will be from 3:00pm until 6:00pm at St. Peters Chapel. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to her son Khai.
