Saundra Anna Schnettler (Sandy), age 66, of Saint Charles, Missouri quietly passed away in the afternoon of Monday, March 28, 2022. She was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on June 28, 1955, and was preceded in death by her loving parents, Socrati and Mildred Lambert.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Dave Schnettler; her children, Brian (Laura) Schnettler, Matthew Schnettler, and Melissa (Nick) Wibbenmeyer; her grandchildren, Kailyn Adams, Jaxin Schnettler, Camryn Schnettler, Kyleigh Wibbenmeyer, and Emelia Wibbenmeyer; her siblings, Tom (Laurie) Lambert, John Lambert, Michael (Melissa) Lambert and Suzi (Tom) Shuga; along with her nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
Sandy married the love of her life, Dave, on April 22, 1978, and was a devoted wife, thoughtful sister, nurturing mother, adoring grandmother, and cherished friend to many. She cared deeply about others and always put her family and friends first before herself. She wanted everyone to be happy, be safe, and know that they were loved. She touched so many lives with her kind, sympathetic words, at times when they were needed most. After her mother's passing, she rose to become the matriarch of her family and had very close relationships with her brothers and sister. She was fiercely proud of her children and the exceptional adults they had become. Her grandchildren were her world and one true joy, and she would relish the time they shared together.
She had a beautiful smile, a contagious laugh, and a fighting spirit. She stayed strong and determined until the very moment she left this earth to enter the gates of Heaven where she knew her heavenly Father was waiting. She left this world too soon, but in time will be reunited with all of the souls who love her and will carry her in their hearts until they meet again.
A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, St. Peters Chapel, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.
