Schirley Weisheyer

Schirley Weisheyer, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024 in St. Peters, Missouri, at the age of 94. Born on November 16, 1929, in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the cherished daughter of Oliver and Evelyn Balthasar. Schirley's journey through life was marked by dedication, love, and resilience, attributes that she imparted to her family.

For many years, Schirley devoted herself to raising her children, serving as a school bus driver while they were growing up. This role exemplified her deep commitment to their education and well-being. Later in her professional life, she transitioned into sales, starting her career at Famous Bar and ultimately retiring as a Sales Manager at Macy's. Her colleagues and clients treasured her warmth and exemplary work ethic, which made her a standout in her field.

Family was the cornerstone of Schirley’s existence. She took great joy in caring for her loved ones, fostering an environment filled with affection and support. Schirley's love for her family was profound; she is survived by her daughter Tamara (Jeff) Collier and her son Gregory Weisheyer, along with four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

A devoted animal lover, Schirley found solace and joy in her cats, especially her dear cat, Beauty. She also cherished the exciting moments spent watching football and baseball games, reveling in the spirited discussions that accompanied her favorite teams.

Schirley is reunited in spirit with her beloved husband, George Weisheyer Jr., and her son, Clifton Weisheyer, both of whom she missed dearly. Her legacy of love and strong familial ties will undoubtedly continue to flourish through her children and grandchildren.

The community is invited to pay their respects during the visitation on December 13, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, culminating in a graveside service at Valhalla Cemetery at 12:00 PM.

As we gather to celebrate Schirley Weisheyer’s life, we remember her not only for her accomplishments but also for the love and care she bestowed upon those fortunate enough to know her. Truly, she was a shining light in the lives she touched, and her memory will forever be a source of inspiration and love for all.
