Scott Andrew Daniel

Scott Andrew Daniel, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, was born on December 11, 1961, in Belleville, Illinois. He passed peacefully at home on December 14, 2024, leaving behind cherished memories and a of laughter and love that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.

Scott was a graduate of St. Charles West High School, class of 1980. His zest for life was evident in everything he did, from his genuine humor to his unwavering determination. Friends and family alike could always count on Scott to lighten the mood with his silly antics and directness, which was a testament to his larger-than-life personality. His infectious laughter brought a sense of joy to those around him.

Scott had a profound love for the outdoors, particularly enjoying boating and spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks. He was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan, passionately cheering for his team, and his enthusiasm for sports was matched only by his culinary skills. A great cook and baker, Scott relished in preparing delicious meals for his family and friends, often bringing everyone together over hearty dinners and sweet treats.

Above all, Scott was most proud of his family. He leaves behind his loving wife, Nancy Daniel, and their children: Cody (Stephanie) Daniel, Kyle Horn, Tyler (Dominique) Horn, and Holland Humphrey. His pride extended to his two grandchildren, Blake Daniel and Charlotte Daniel, who always brought him immense joy. The accomplishments of his children, particularly their service in the military, filled him with an overwhelming sense of pride and admiration.

Scott is also survived by his mother, Patricia Wadley, sister, Susan Daniel, and his brother, Richard Daniel. He was predeceased by his father, Richard Daniel.

A visitation will be held on December 28, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 4:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, St. Peters, located at 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.

As we gather to celebrate the life of Scott Andrew Daniel, let us remember the laughter he shared, the wisdom he imparted, and the love he cultivated within his family. His spirit will live on in the stories we tell and the memories we cherish—forever etched in our hearts.
