His work at the Missouri Youth Services at Babbler Lodge remains a testament to his commitment; Scott took immense pride in guiding troubled teens towards brighter futures, providing them with alternatives that would steer them away from their troubles.
Scott possessed a gentle and caring personality that endeared him to many. He was loved deeply by his family, including his father, Jerry Maple, and his sisters, LeeAnn Chrisco and Angela Ward, along with their spouses, Donny Chrisco and Kenny Ward. His spirit will live on in the hearts of his nephew, Justin Chrisco, and his nieces, Bridgette Chrisco, Jada Ward, and Kendall Ward, who all cherished their time with him.
Education played a significant role in Scott’s life; he began with an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy before achieving his Bachelor's in Psychology. This background allowed him to merge his understanding of the human condition with his desire to make a difference.

His love for football was unwavering, particularly for the Dallas Cowboys, whom he enjoyed watching passionately. Memories of attending games at the stadium in Dallas will forever be etched in the hearts of those who shared those moments with him. Additionally, Scott was a fan of Dr. Who and enjoyed watching the St. Louis Blues play hockey, often sharing laughter and joy with family and friends.
Scott's loving nature and sense of humor created nurturing bonds with everyone fortunate enough to know him. He was quietly sweet and funny, a steadfast presence at family gatherings who could always be counted on for support and compassion.
He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Jonice "Jan" Maple, and his grandparents Jon and Alice Lee and Ivan and Phoebe Maple, who surely welcomed him into everlasting peace. As his family mourns the loss of a shining light in their lives, they carry forward the legacy of love, kindness, and the lasting impact Scott made through his professional and personal endeavors.
