Sharon Kay Fuchs (nee Webb) of St. Charles, MO passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021 at the age of 74.
Sharon was the loving wife of Dixon Lee Fuchs and devoted mother of Jennifer (Eric) Wortham of St. Charles, MO and Rebecca (Freddie) Hargraves of Englewood, FL. Sharon loved and was loved by her grandchildren Julia Wortham, James Wortham, Jacob Wortham, Jordan Wortham, Isabella Hargraves, Alhana Hargraves and Trystan Hargraves. Treasured sister of Ronald (Joanne) Webb of The Villages, FL, Barry (Janise) Webb of St. Peters, MO and Susan (Warren) Hancock of Warrenton, MO. Sister-in-law of Dan (Pat) Fuchs of O'Fallon, MO and Suzanne (Dave) Stephens of O'Fallon, MO. She has numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Dorothy Webb and parents-in-law Charles and Ruth Fuchs.
Sharon was born on May 8, 1947 in St. Louis, MO. She attended Scullin Elementary School in St. Louis and graduated from Berkeley High School in 1965 after which she graduated from UMSL in 1969. She met her husband Dixon while attending UMSL and they married June 14, 1969.
While Dixon was in the Air Force, they lived in San Antonio, TX and Anchorage, Alaska. After returning home in 1972, she lived in Maryland Heights, MO for 40+ years and has lived in St. Charles, MO for the past 5 years.
Sharon taught school in her early years and stayed home with her children when they were small. She worked at Salem Church in Florissant, MO as a secretary for many years. She then worked at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Des Peres, MO also as a secretary and finally at Grace Church in Maryland Heights, MO in several positions before retiring.
Sharon attended Salem Church in Florissant, MO for 50 years and made many close friends who she cherished. She attended Bible Study and lunch monthly with her Salem ladies. Sharon also attended Grace Church in Maryland Heights, MO where she had many friends and colleagues that she loved dearly.
Most of all, Sharon loved Jesus. There is no doubt in her family's mind that she is with her Heavenly Father and celebrating with Jesus.
