Sharon Lanvermeier

Sharon Kay Lanvermeier, age 76, of Old Monroe, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 in O'Fallon, Missouri. She was born in Ute, Iowa on July 10, 1946 to Gordon and Delia Lane (nee Parkhill).

Sharon battled cancer like the tough competitor she was. Before this Sharon was very active and instrumental in creating the Show Me 4x4 club as well as designing the logo for it. Both Sharon and Steve raced competitively for over 30 years together. Whenever Sharon would race she was a fierce competitor and when Steve would race Sharon was always his biggest cheerleader. In some of her free time Sharon loved working on her gardens and with her chickens on their farm. Of course Sophie was always by her side helping.

Sharon is survived by her loving Husband, Steve Lanvermeier of 41 years, Brother, Jeff Lane; Five Daughters, Lezlie (David) Ellerman, Lana (Toli ) Uhl, Shelley (Steve) McMullin, Tammy (Thomas) Bickel, Theresa Graham; 11 Grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, other family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Gordon and Delia Lane; Brother, Michael "Coke" Lane; and Sister, Roxann Ohlmeier.

Funeral Ceremony will be 5:00 pm Friday, June 2, 2023 at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at St. Peters Chapel.
