Sheila Birk

Sheila Rene Birk, age 48, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 in Saint Peters, Missouri. She was born in Selma, Alabama on October 2, 1973 to Edwin and Debra Freche (nee Smith).

Sheila will always be remembered as a kind and caring person, she was always willing to volunteer and take charge when needed. She was a devoted mother and wife of 20 plus years. In her spare time she loved spending time with family and friends, especially at the lake of the Ozarks. No matter the destination as long as she was with her family she was happy. Sheila was respected and well liked by all of her coworkers. She was an adamant Blues hockey fan.

Sheila is survived by her husband, Steven Birk, father, Edwin (Monique) Freche, brother, Scott (Karen) Freche, son, Austin Birk, daughter, Allison Birk and a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Debra Clowers.

Visitation will be May 16 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm, at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Services will be May 16 at 6:00 pm at St. Peters Chapel. A funeral memorial Mass to be held at a later date.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
