Shirley M Booker

Shirley May (Baseler) Booker, age 84, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at her home at The Boulevard Assisted Living Center. She was born in St Louis, MO on February 6, 1934 to the late Alfred W. and Bertha (Gruen) Baseler.
She enjoyed league bowling for many years, watching football, Cardinals Baseball, Lutheran High Cougar Girl's Basketball, and loved her cat Gabby.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and brother-in-law, Robert and Ruth (Baseler) Martin, and a nephew-in-law, Willie Montgomery.
She is survived by her daughters; Carole (Steve) Pauk, and Patti Booker; four grandchildren: Ryan (Stephanie) Pauk, Erin (Derrik) Luttschwager, Michael Harke and Nicole (Derek) Pieper, and one great grandson, Kannon Pieper. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and many friends.
All who knew her knew that she loved to laugh, and had a great sense of humor.
The family is being served by Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions, St Peters, MO.
Visitation is Saturday, January 12, from 8:30~10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church O'Fallon, 8750 Veteran's Memorial Parkway, O'Fallon, MO 63366. Funeral services will immediately follow visitation. The Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations to the American Lung Association, and First Baptist Church O'Fallon-Mission Fund.
