Shirley J. Kell

Shirley J. Kell, age 79, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 in Defiance, Missouri. She was born in Piedmont, Missouri on January 25, 1939 to the late Albert Cook and Anna Pulcher.

Shirley was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed shopping, camping, being outdoors and spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Shirley is survived by her loving children, Robert M. (Rene Hertweck) Cox, Laurie A. (Tim Donnelly) Hayes and Teri L. (Daniel) Kavanagh; grandchildren, Ryan (Jessica) Teal, Kyrsten (Adam Stockman) Anderson, Chelsea Cox, Corey Cox, Brandon Anderson and Kayla Cox; great-grandchildren, Khloe Teal and Emery Stockman; sister Gladys (late Charles) Hammon and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and dear friends.

She was also preceded in death by her, sibling, Vernon (late June) Cook, Myrtle Thompson, Mary (late Delbert) Holland and Joseph Cook;

Funeral Ceremony will be 11:00 am Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376 with Deacon Peter Gounis officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions. Interment will be held following the service at Mount Labanon Cemetery in St. Ann, Missouri.
