Shirley Swanson Noonan, age 91, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on January 20, 1931, to Vincent and Ursula Gutzwiller (nee Wease).
Shirley is survived by her children, Michael (Christine) Swanson, Dody Swanson, and Nanci (Rick) Kallaus; and granddaughter, Sunny "Sadie" Kallaus. Also survived by loving nieces, nephew, and dear friend Lil Koenig.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vincent and Ursula Gutzwiller; as well as her husbands, Delbert Swanson and Jim Noonan.
Shirley dearly loved her children and was a devoted grandmother. She was an avid book reader, Cardinal's fan, and lover of all things "sweet." She had a kind, loving, generous heart and a smile that could light up a room.
A Memorial Gathering to celebrate her life will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022, 4 pm - 8 pm, at Newcomer Funeral Home, Chesterfield, MO.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to the Humane Society of Missouri, or you could say a prayer for Shirley.
