Steve Anderson

It is with profound sadness that we share of the passing of beloved father, brother, son and friend, Steven Aric Anderson. 

Steve Anderson, 58, of OFallon, MO, passed away on October 8, 2024. His spirit for life is carried on by his children, Brittani (Cameron) Anielak and Drake (Hal Looney) Anderson and their mom, Julie Hartman. His siblings, Carol (Ron) Stagner and Keith (Michelle) Anderson. And his mother Joyce Anderson. He is preceded in peace by his father Robert Anderson and his maternal and paternal grandparents. 

While Steve left us far too soon, the impact he had in his community and friends will be felt forever. He was a hard worker and took care of everyone he encountered. His larger than life personality made him a quick friend. He had many stories to tell, was quick with the punch lines and gave his friendships his all. He was always the person to call when you needed advice or someone to listen. 

Steve was a man of many passions. He found joy in fishing and automotive work, valuable outlets that showcased his skills and love for the outdoors. He cherished the time spent at Bull Shoals Lake, where tranquility and nature brought him joy, as did relaxing on his deck by his pool, which he considered his backyard oasis.

Steve loved attending the SEMA Convention in Las Vegas, where he connected with fellow automotive enthusiasts and celebrated his passion for all things automotive. He took immense pride in maintaining his yard, cultivating a space that reflected his dedication and love for his home.

He cared deeply for his family, especially his children. Steve was a proud father to his children and he loved nothing more than spending time with his adult children: Brittani and Drake. He was always there for them, whether it was to listen about their day, fix their ailments (and cars) or provide the best fatherly advice. Steve held a special place in his heart for his Grand dog, Bob.

To honor Steve, services will be held at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376 on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 1:00 pm followed by a visitation until 4:00 pm. Following the visitation, everyone is invited to celebrate Steve and his life at Knights of Columbus Hall, 2199 Post Rd, Dardenne Prairie, MO 63368 from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm.
