Steven Paul Cayce, age 51, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on October 2, 1967, to the late Charles and Jeanette Cayce (nee:Ehrhart).

Steve attended St. Sebastian Grade School and St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Florissant, Missouri. He joined the United States Army in 1988 and proudly served our country in Operation Desert Storm. Steve received several Decorations and Medals during his Campaign including the Kuwait Liberation Medal and National Defense Service Medal. After serving 4 years in the Army, Steve returned to St. Louis where he was employed by Schnucks for over 20 years working in the meat department.

Steve was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, camping, and canoeing. He loved grilling on the weekends with family and friends. Steve was a kind-hearted man who always had a smile on his face. He loved to laugh, joke, debate and tip a few back with his brothers. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Steve is survived by his 2 sisters: Christine Shields (Robert) and Carol Fitzgerald; and 6 brothers: Charles, David (Lynn), John, Daniel (Ginger), Richard (Maureen) and Michael (Carol). Steve was a fun-loving Uncle to many Nephews and Nieces and leaves behind many friends and acquaintances.

Private Memorial Service at Newcomer's Funeral Home in St. Peters, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 11. Burial at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery following service at 12:00 pm.

Memorial Mass and Celebration of Life held at a later date.
