Sureshkumar, fondly called Soori, 39, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2022, at around 6:45 am in St. Louis, Missouri. Suresh was loved by many and will be greatly missed, especially his family and wonderful circle of friends.
Suresh was born on January 28, 1983, in Chennai. He grew up in Chennai and graduated from S.A. Engineering College.
He married Abirami, who loved him unconditionally. He moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where he pursued his career as a Software Engineer in Refinitiv.
Suresh will be forever remembered for his cheerful smile, contagious laugh, and kind nature. He was passionate about cricket, volleyball, car racing, and dancing. He enjoyed long drives and partying with his friends. He gave the ultimate barbecue experience to his friends and family. The biggest asset he earned with his love and charm is an enormous group of friends whom he kept next to his heart. His ever-smiling face will stay in our memories forever.
He was diagnosed with an aggressive type of stomach cancer in 2019. The doctors gave a prognosis of 1 year for this type of cancer. But cancer didn't stop him. With the strong support of his family, friends, and doctors, he put a brave and strong fight till the end and lived three and a half meaningful years after the diagnosis. The highlight of his last few years, which he cherished so much, was spending time with Missouri Tamil Sangam and his friends and volunteering for various activities. His radiant personality and love touched everyone's heart around him. He went above and beyond to make people feel loved and appreciated. He was very proud of his son and daughter. He never ceased to take his son to the chess tournaments even after his second major surgery.
He is survived by his dear wife Abi, son Sujay (12 years), daughter Srinithi (7 years ), mother,sister, and in laws.
