Susan P. Flowers, age 74, of Creve Coeur, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. She was born in Quincy, Massachusetts on July 22, 1948 to Francis and Anne McCloskey (nee Bare).

Susan is survived by her children, JoAnne (Douglas) Spiller and Scott (Mike Sisley) Smith; granddaughter, Jenna (Chase) Garrett; grandson, Kendall (Emily Smitley) Spiller; and sisters, Cathy (the late Bob) Waterman, Nancy Contilli, and Judy O'Donnell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Flowers; father, Francis Xavier McCloskey; mother, Anne Natalie McCloskey; and brother, Patrick McCloskey.

Susan was a longtime member of Elks Lodge No. 9 where she was actively involved in the Veterans Committee and the Women's Auxiliary. In her free time she loved to read, and loved traveling, especially going on cruises. She was dearly loved, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A Lodge of Sorrows Ceremony will be held for Susan at Elk's Lodge #9, 12481 Ladue Road, Creve Coeur, Missouri, 63141, on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at 11:00 am. The Lodge is open to the public for this event. You do not need to be a member to attend.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Susan's honor to Backstoppers.
