Sylvia Marge Scarfino, age 88, of Chesterfield, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021.
She was born in Granite City, Illinois on March 30, 1932 to Carl and Hattie Dorste (nee Wagner).
Sylvia loved to sing and she was an avid bookkeeper. She also enjoyed gardening, baking, she was an excellent seamstress , and enjoyed crocheting. Most of all she was always an uplifting person who cared about her family, and always put family first.
Sylvia is survived by her Daughter, Meg (Rick) Storie, Son, Martin (Carrie) Scarfino, Jr., Grandson, Bryan Zimmer, Granddaughter, Candace (Roy) Turner, Granddaughter, Jordan (Michael) Donovan, Grandson, Nicholas Scarfino, Great-Grandson, Dominick Haley, Great-Grandson, Caleb Haley, Great-Grandson, Gideon Zimmer, Step-Grandson, Justin Storie, Step-Grandson, Ethan Storie, Step-Granddaughter, Annie Turner and she will be dearly missed by a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Martin Scarfino, Sr. ;Father, Carl L. Dorste; Mother, Hattie F. Dorste; Two Sisters, Bertha McDonald, Irene Levering; Three Brothers, George Dorste, Harry Dorste, and Carl Dorste.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations and Funerals in St. Peters, MO.
Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 28, 2021.
