Tamara Reneè Ross, 61, of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away suddenly at her home on Monday, February 19, 2024.

Born on November 2, 1962, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Tamara was born to R.M. Harding McCormick and Iris Nadine Allen McCormick. At two years old, her family moved to St. Charles, Illinois from Bernie, Missouri, where she spent her formative years. She attended St. Charles High School (Class of 1981) and later attended Rochester University in Michigan.

She married the love of her life, Mark Owen Ross, on October 17, 1987 in Naperville, Illinois. She is survived by Mark; daughter, Kaylie Ross (Jack Burgoyne); and brother, Phillip McCormick (Rebecca). She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister.

In her final days, she spent working for the Francis Howell School District caring for special needs children as a bus monitor. For 21 years, she worked for Arthur Anderson and later the Q Center in St. Charles, Illinois.

Tamara's life was a testament to her compassionate spirit and selfless nature. She is known for her dedication to serving others, extending her kindness not only to people but also to animals. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, whether it was visiting her family in southeast Missouri, indulging in the thrill of garage sales or a bargain store, where the prospect of a good deal never failed to bring a smile to her face, or belting out to a good song on the radio. She also cherished capturing precious moments through photos and videos, using them as memories to revisit and share with loved ones.
