Tami Louise Atherton

Tami Louise Atherton, age 60, of Ellisville, Missouri passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024 in Saint Louis, Missouri. She was born in Ellisville, Missouri on December 25, 1963 to Sherman and Betty Atherton (nee Collins).

Tami is survived by her beloved husband, Stephen Mesa, loving daughters, Stephanie Mesa and Tiffany Mesa; dear mother, Betty (Kostas Pavlakis) Atherton; treasured cousin, Angela Feller; and a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Sherman "Terry" Atherton, and step-mother, Judy Atherton.

Tami loved many things - dogs, popsicles, Elvis, Chicago PD and Fire, and, most of all, her family. She dedicated her life to her work in finance, and she was the best at it. She was the kindest soul and would happily give anyone in need the shirt off her own back. She always rooted for the underdog, even to her own detriment at times. But she didn’t believe in giving up. She fought hard until the very end. She truly is our Superwoman.
