Teresa Schramm

Teresa Ellen Schramm, age 56, of Foristell, Missouri, entered eternal rest on Friday, February 7, 2025. Born on March 27, 1968, in St. Louis, Missouri, Teresa was the beloved daughter of Patrick and Katharina Reape (née Stolte).

Teresa and Don shared over 25 years together, living in Hazelwood, Missouri, raising their two beautiful daughters, Kellie and Katie. The family were active parishioners at St.Martin de Porres. 

Teresa opened her heart and home to caring for children for 20 years. She was proud to be called Miss Teresa, and built strong, loving relationships with the families. In 2020, Don and Teresa fulfilled their dream and moved to Wentzville, Missouri.

Teresa cherished her role as Grandma to her adorable twin granddaughters, Natalie and Emilie. From sharing her love of Diet Coke and Irish heritage to creating special memories, she filled their lives with endless love, laughter, and warmth.

In December of 2023, Teresa and her life partner, Michael Bochenek, moved to Forstell, Missouri, where they purchased their homestead together. They had many adventures zip-lining in Tennessee, going on cruises, and enjoying their time together.

Teresa leaves behind a family that she cherished dearly. She is survived by her two daughters, Kellie (Nick) Hurlbut and Katie Schramm; her granddaughters, Natalie and Emilie Hurlbut; Michael Bochenek, her mother, Katharina Reape; her brother, William (Debra) Reape; her sister-in-law, Denise Reape (Patrick); nieces and nephews: Daniel (Sabrina) Mason, Amy (Denny) Halleman, Jessica (Rian) Moore, Joseph Reape, Thomas Reape, Kevin (Jacqueline) Reape, David (Jaden) Reape, along with many other cherished family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Schramm, her father, Patrick Reape, and her brothers, Patrick Reape and Michael Reape. 

The visitation will be on February 13, 2025, starting at 8:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri. A funeral service will follow at 9:30 AM. A graveside service will take place at 11:15 AM at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Don.
