Terri Brooks, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on March 30, 2025, in St. Ann, Missouri. Born on August 21, 1962, in St Louis, Missouri, Terri lived a vibrant life, marked by her unwavering kindness and generous spirit.
Attending Ft. Zumwalt High School in O'Fallon, Missouri, Terri was not just a student, but a cheerleader, bringing her bubbly and sassy personality to the forefront. Her larger-than-life character endeared her to everyone she met. She had a remarkable ability to connect with people, never having any enemies, and was always ready to lend a helping hand. Terri's joy was most palpable when she was surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply.
Her family includes her loving companion Donald Freeman, and she finds peace in knowing her legacy will continue through her grandchildren: Brandon Brooks, Brianna Brooks, Tatum Terry, Kailyn Terry, and Jourdan Terry. Additionally, she holds a special place in her heart for her two great-grandchildren, Juniper and Jodeci. They were beacons of joy in her life, and her pride for them was immeasurable.
Terri was particularly proud of her achievements, having gone back to complete her GED—a testament to her determination. This accomplishment was accompanied by her joy in nurturing the next generation. She carried with her the memories of her late father, Raymond Frederick Feldewerth, and late mother, Mary Katherine Menke, who undoubtedly shaped the wonderful person she became. Her daughter, Christine Brooks, also preceded her in death, as well as her brother Kenneth "Skip" Walter Shea, and though they are no longer with her, Terri's love for them remains everlasting. She is survived by her brother, John (the late Holly) Feldewerth.
In addition to her familial bonds, Terri had interests that brought her joy; she enjoyed breeding Dachshund and Rottweiler dogs, showcasing her love for animals and nurturing spirits.
Terri's visitation will be held on Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri.
