Theodore Price

 Ted passed away peacefully at Garden View Care Center-O’Fallon, MO on August 24, 2024, at the age of 90. Ted was a devoted husband of Pauline Price for 46 years until his passing. Ted was born in Dallas, Texas to the late Joyce R. Price and Edith M. Price (nee Jacques). Ted was one of seven children, his siblings being the late Byron “Bud” S. Price, Peggy J. Walker, Donald J. Price, Kenneth C. Price, and Robert M. Price. He is survived by his wife, and two daughters, Kimberly Price and Kelly (Joel) Poor, his sister Laura A. Lyle, along with four grandchildren, Dominic (Nicke) Price, Sarah Poor, Kendall Poor, and Christopher Woodfin. He is also survived by a stepdaughter, Kelly Woodfin and a great granddaughter, Lovelynn Price.

 Ted enlisted in the U.S. Army, in July of 1951, during the height of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army National Guard and Army Reserves, 138th Infantry Regiment, being honorably discharged on September 3, 1959, as a Sergeant First Class.

 After his service in the military, Ted spent his early career at Northrop Grumman Corporation and WEMS, Incorporated in California. He moved back to Missouri to join his brothers in Price Contracting and ultimately retired as a manager with Brauer Supply Company. Ted and Pauline were married on June 24, 1978, at First St. Charles United Methodist Church, which they have continued to attend, and they spent their lives together in Lake St. Louis and Saint Charles, MO. Ted loved traveling in his motorhome, being around water at the Lake of the Ozarks and Florida, and spending time with his family.

 Visitation for Ted will be at the First St. Charles United Methodist Church, 801 First Capital Dr., St. Charles, MO 63301, from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on September 3rd, 2024, with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Ted will be interred at St. Charles Memorial Gardens with a veteran’s salute at 1:30 p.m.

 The family has requested donations be made to the First St. Charles United Methodist Church.
