Theodore Louis Looney, age 78, of Florissant, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 in Saint Peters, Missouri. He was born in Kinloch, Missouri on June 29, 1945 to Theodore and Dolly Looney (nee Cross).
Ted was a life member of North American Hunting Association. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He worked and retired from Continental Can. After retirement he later went to work as security at Walmart, and then Sam's Club as a gas attendant and the car-wash guru.
Theodore is survived by his children, Dennis (Carolyn) Lococo, James V. (Diane) Lococo Jr., Eleanor M. Lococo, Barb Lococo, Theresa Looney-Perry, Marcus Looney, Theodore Looney, III; sister, Rose Marie Jones-Wade; brother, William Looney; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.
A special thank you to Ronnie and Bev Day and to cousins Bernard and Bev Turner, David Looney, and Michael Looney for their wonderful friendship throughout the years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeannette Lococo-Looney; mother, Dolly Looney; father, Theodore Louis Looney, Sr.; son, Timothy Pete Lococo; two sisters, Jessie Looney and Mary Ann Looney.
The family would like to thank the staff of Chestnut Terrace Memory Care of St. Peters, MO and Community Loving Care Hospice for their excellent and compassionate care.
Visitation will be from 3:00 until 7:00 pm with a Memorial Service immediately following at 7:00 pm Thursday, June 13, 2024 at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.
