Theresa Schneider

Theresa Martha Schneider, age 94, a lifetime resident of Cottleville (St. Charles) died on Saturday, December 16, 2017 in O'Fallon, Missouri. She was born in St. Charles County, Missouri on October 7, 1923, a daughter of William and Mary Ochs (nee Ell). Theresa was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, co-business owner and a lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cottleville. Theresa volunteered in many ways at St. Joseph Catholic Church. She married Harold Schneider on September 10, 1941 and he preceded her in death February 11, 2010.

Theresa was a loving and devoted mother to 12 children: Mary Lou (William) Kelly of St. Charles, MO, Margaret (late Louis) Bunda of St. Charles, MO, William (Joan) Schneider of Saint Peters, MO, Richard (Connie) Schneider of O'Fallon, MO, Timothy (Debbie) Schneider of Brighton, CO, Anita (Terry) Herring of St. Peters, MO, Ruth (Doug) Smith of Hermann, MO, Linda (Bruce) Jacobs of Creve Coeur, MO, Patrice (Carl) Zagar of Foristell, MO, Darrell Schneider of O'Fallon, MO, Karen (Michael) Broyles of St. Peters, MO, and Judith (Mark) Segelle of St. Peters, MO; beloved grandmother of 26 and great-grandmother of 36; and a host of other family members and friends.

Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a brother Clarence Ochs and three sisters, Dorothy Oberlag, Rita Schulte, and Stella Vogt.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 19, 2017, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Newcomer-St. Peters Chapel, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.

A Catholic Mass and Burial will be 1:30 pm Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1355 Motherhead Road, Cottleville, MO 63304, with Interment following in St. Joseph Church Cemetery.

Memorial donations in memory of Theresa can be made for Masses or your choice of charitable organization.
