Thomas James Englert

August 23, 1956 — July 1, 2024

Wildwood, Missouri

Thomas James Englert, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on July 1, 2024 in Chesterfield, Missouri. He was born on August 23, 1956, in St. Louis, Missouri.

Thomas will always be remembered for his kind heart, charm, and his unwavering love for his family. One of his proudest accomplishments was his role as a grandfather. Thomas's face would light up with joy at the sight of his grandchildren: Brooklyn, Landon, and Evelyn. They brought immense happiness into his life. He treasured every moment spent with them and could often be overheard commenting on how smart they are.

Thomas had a passion for golfing and also enjoyed spending time outdoors taking care of his lawn and pool. His love for his dogs, Mason and Stella, was evident.

Thomas is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Theresa Englert; two sons, Haden (Reese Moore) Englert and Sean (Megan) Whittemore; three grandchildren Brooklyn Whittemore, Landon Whittemore, and Evelyn Whittemore; four sisters JoAnn (Jeff) Strunk, Kitty (the late Bill) Jakul, Lorraine (the late Mike) Amend, and Rosie (John) Hoffman; and two brothers, Joe (Betty) Englert and Roger (Pam) Englert. He is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roland Englert; Mother, LeAnna Englert; two sister, Marie Loser and Peggy Englert; and one brother, Johnny Englert.
