Thomas was born a hard worker, he worked by his father's side in the grocery business starting at the age of 15 at their grocery store in St. Louis city. He had a passion for putting in long hours and giving opportunities to those that needed a job. Thomas was known to provide food to many families that found themselves in hard times. If it weren't food, he would give you the last dime out of his pocket without hesitation. He really wanted to take care of everyone, for him life was not worth living without giving. Thomas showed us how to give freely from the heart.
Thomas loved his family deeply and considered them to be his most significant accomplishment. When he was 16 and hanging out at the St. Louis Katz Drugstore, he met his beautiful bride and wed her at age 18. Together they built a beautiful family. Thomas looked forward to family gatherings and providing plentiful meals for his ever growing family. Every holiday he could be found standing over the butcher block slicing ham, turkey or serving spiedinis hot right out of the oven for each and every one of his family members. He would not sit down for his own meal until everyone had a plate full of food. Thomas made it look so easy to love and care for all 35 of his family members, he constantly praised us on our accomplishments, big or small, and loved to brag about his family any chance he could. He knew exactly how to make his family feel loved.
Mass will be at 10:00am on Wednesday August 25, 2021 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Parish, 601 N 4th Street, St. Charles, MO 63031.
The family would like you to join them after mass for a luncheon with family and friends located at Blanchette Park - Memorial Hall 1900 W Randolph Street, St. Charles, MO 63301
