Timothy "Tim" Letson

Timothy "Tim" Letson, age 70, of Ballwin, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 in Saint Louis, Missouri. He was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on September 27, 1953 to Edward and Ruby Lee Letson (nee Overby). 

Tim would say "Back in the day I was a rock star", although that was not true. He worked for the United States Postal Service for 33 years and retired in 2018. He enjoyed to spend his free time fishing, hunting and hanging out with friends. He cherished the time he was able to spend with his family, especially his grandchildren who called him Timmy Boy.

Tim is survived by his wife, Kay "Katie" Wachter Letson; his children, Todd Letson, Christina (Kelly) Cross and Jason Funk; his grandchildren, KayBella Cross, Kasey Cross. He will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Lee Letson; his father, Edward F. Letson; and his brother, Michael Letson. 

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm followed by a memorial service at 6:00 pm, all on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at West County Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 2211 Clarkson Rd, Chesterfield, Missouri 63017.
