Timothy S. Short, Sr.

Timothy S. Short, Sr., age 46, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri on September 24, 1975 to Paul and LaSonya Short (nee Wren).

Timothy is survived by his wife I'Esha Shelton-Short; father Paul Short; mother LaSonya Bronson; children Timothy Short, Jr., Jamal Short, Jamar Short, Jordan Goods, Christopher Short, Xavier Short, and Dalen Kincade; grandchildren Aubryana Steele-Short, Dylan Short, Nylah Short, Wayne Short, Nova Short, Zamarian Short, Ja Shon Short, and Malaki Short; siblings Paula (Vince) Reynolds, Christina Graves, Paul Short, Jr., and Jason Short; father-in-law Willie Brown and mother-in-law Betty Shelton; and sister-in-law Amanda (Michelle) Shelton. Also survived by a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ty'Esha L. Short.

Timothy was educated in the public schools of Kansas City, Missouri, and attended Askew Elementary, Grandview Middle, and Grandview High School. After receiving his General Education Diploma, he furthered his education at Lincoln University in Jefferson City Missouri.

Timothy loved coaching football and would occasionally coach basketball when needed. He was always quick to help his players, family, and friends. Timothy was an entrepreneur and accomplished anything he put his mind to. He was a loyal Chiefs Fan who attended their Super Bowl Parade. Timothy will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
