Tony Mickeletto, age 58, of Defiance, Missouri passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022 in Defiance, Missouri. He was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on February 2, 1964 to John and Virginia Mickeletto (nee Boewer).
Tony was a generous man with incredible patience who always made time to help others. He did so with honesty and integrity. Whether family, friend, or work related, he took on projects willingly and gave his all to each. He was well liked by everyone, mostly due to his kind nature. He truly lived his life following the "golden rule".
Tony also dearly loved animals and would go out of his way to ensure their safety - even if they were pests in or around the house. He was a "doting father" to many pets over the years which included cats, dogs, and a multitude of parrots. Outside, he cared for many wild birds, several families of raccoons, and an entire herd of deer and turkey that he fed daily.
Tony was a loving husband and life partner to Jenny for 38 years. Together they enjoyed many years of bass fishing on their lake as well as frequent travel to Hawaii. Tony's favorite past time was fly fishing for trout with his dad.
Tony was a true friend and confidante to countless others in his immediate and extended family as well as large circle of work acquaintances. He touched many lives and will be desperately missed by all that knew him. May he Rest In Peace in comfort and joy with Our Lord Jesus Christ.
Tony is survived by his wife, Jennifer Mickeletto (nee Saab); his daughter, Julie M. (Micah) Wooten; his brother, Vincent J. Mickeletto; and his sister, Jeanette M. (Kent) Henslee. He will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, John R. Mickeletto; and his mother, Virginia H. Mickeletto.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm with a funeral service at 4:00 pm, both on Friday, January 20, 2023 at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Interment will be private.
