Valerie Madison Coulter

Valerie Madison Coulter, age 12, of Ballwin, Missouri passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on March 12, 2011 to Jeffrey and Chris Coulter (nee Tan).

Val is survived by her parents, Jeff and Chris Coulter; brother, Jesse Coulter; grandparents, Tom and Rebecca Coulter; aunts, Lisa and Jeff Hastings and family, Robin and John Brewer and family, Jill and Kevin Jones and family, and Yen Tan; uncles, Sin and Yong Tan, and puppies Marco and Polo.

Val loved traveling, especially her recent vacation to Portugal. She loved exploring new cultures, foods, and shopping. She also enjoyed swimming and playing softball, and was the pitcher for her team, the St. Louis Aftershock. Val is lovingly remembered for her kind and gentle nature, and her sense of humor endeared her to all. People gravitated toward her magnetic personality, and she made friends wherever she went.

Please see service information below. For friends and family that wish to see Val, her family will be holding open casket visitation until 6pm, at which time her casket will be closed, and will remain closed for the remainder of the evening.
