Victoria L. Ross, age 67, of Saint Louis, Missouri, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022. She was born in Argentia, Newfoundland, on July 29, 1955, to Joanne Compton (nee Passwater).
Victoria is survived by her children, Nicole (Mitch) Scheperle, Alex (Alyssa) Apter, and Sam (Meg McMahon) Hurwitz; grandchildren, Cohen Scheperle, Adyson Apter, Sonny Scheperle, and one grandson on the way, Ari Apter; brother, Ric Ross; sister, Laura (the late Scott) McKay; nieces, Brooke McKay and Carly McKay; nephew, Blake McKay; and her dear cat, Louie.
Victoria adored being the life of the party almost as much as she loved her children. Beginning a family in Indianapolis, IN, and later moving to Saint Louis, she worked hard to ensure her kids were provided for. She was their loudest cheerleader, cooked their favorite meals, and threw the best parties. She welcomed any chance to brag about their accomplishments, great or small, and was overjoyed to watch her children start their own families.
Victoria was both a lover and a fighter. She had an infectious laugh, impeccable style, a voice that carried above all others, and a desire to make sure everyone around her was having the best time possible. She was also a fiercely loyal woman who would protect her loved ones at all costs. Tenacious and confident, she never shied away from confrontation and always made an impression. These traits defined Victoria and are the reason she will not be forgotten.
A private ceremony will be held for Victoria on Sunday, December 4. A public celebration of life will follow that day at Mike Duffy's Pub & Grill (1024 Schnucks Woodsmill Plz, Town and Country, MO 63017) from 3 - 6pm.
