Virginia Lee Baillargeon, age 91, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at her daughter's home surrounded by her family. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on December 26, 1925, a daughter to James and Aurora Doyle (nee Keller). Virginia was a proud housewife and mother, a member of Zion Lutheran Church Harvester, and formerly Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Overland, MO. Virginia loved being active in her church, she enjoyed bowling, was an avid reader, loved following Cardinal Baseball, but most of all being with her family. Virginia married Joseph Normand Baillargeon in St. Louis on December 31, 1943 and he preceded her in death March 31, 1999.
Virginia is survived by her son, James (Colette) Baillargeon of Fenton, MO, and daughter, Patricia (Randy) Sweet of Truesdale, MO; five grandchildren: Michele, Melissa, Matthew, James and Jon; 13 great-grandchildren: Michael, Emily, Alex, Stephen, Olivia, Aiden, Nikolas, Sydney, Andrew, Josephine, Charlotte, Elizabeth and Amelia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a sister, Mary Ellen Linehan, and a brother, James William Doyle, Jr.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 am Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Zion Lutheran Church, 3866 S. Old Highway 94, St. Charles (Harvester) MO 63304 with Pastor Mark Rouland officiating. Visitation will precede services from 9:30 am until 10:30 am at Zion Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
